The Plan of God

What is God's plan for me, So I may have Joy & Peace?

God's plan for mankind is to make their wrongs right.  If mankind will do the plan of God, there's everlasting joy and everlasting peace.  We can live forever with God through Jesus Christ.  That's the only way.  You can't do it any other way. If you don't give your heart and life to the Lord, you will die forever.  You'll burn in everlasting hell.

That is God's Word so, don't fall out with me. I didn't make it up. In Genesis Chapter 6:, God had talked about how the sons of God had taken the daughters of men, and God wasn't pleased. He said that he would destroy what he had made from off the face of the earth. He did that with the waters of the flood. If you go back to the days of the flood and you look at what happened when God destroyed this ground, (the earth) he destroyed the earth of people. And, the things that were not pleasing to him.  The world itself was still here.  The ground itself I should say was still here. Ask yourself this question...what did God destroy? Well, if we read back in Genesis Chapter (6:8), it said Noah found favor...he found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

NOAH WAS A JUST MAN When God was ready to destroy the earth of people, he found somebody that he was pleased with and God spared his life. When God destroyed those that he was not pleased with...what did he destroy? He destroyed the wicked. He destroyed those that were not making him happy. In Genesis Chapter 6:9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generation. Noah walked with God so if you want to be saved, then you need to walk with God.  It's just that simple. We'll go back to Matthew 24: 35 again.

READY TO GO Matthew 24: 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour (the day and hour that heaven and earth passes away) knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Jesus don't even know when he's going to come back. Only God knows, so we have to be ready for that.  As I said last week when he comes back, he's going to destroy the wicked with the brightness of his coming. He's not coming back to preserve us.  We will already be in that state if we give our heart and life to Jesus. This body that we are in has to decay.  It has to go away.  When he comes back, we're all going to be changed.  That part of preservation will happen.  When comes back, he's not taking us to where we can get away from everything.  He's going to destroy everything right around us just like he had already done.

SAVED How did he save Noah? He gave him an ark to be in. What is God's plan for the world? How is he going to save us today? He gave us an ark to get in...that's in Christ Jesus. You say, well, how can God do that?  Do you remember back in the days when God sent the destroying angel down, and he told the children of Israel, "You go and destroy this lamb".  "Take the blood of that lamb, and you put it on the doorpost of your house.  When that destroying angel comes, if he sees the blood he'll pass your house and the one next to you.  Remember, we're talking about an Almighty God.  We're talking about a man that made the earth.  A man that looked out over the depths of the earth and saw darkness and said, "Let there be light".  And, it happened.  That's the God that's going to destroy the wicked all the way around us and never touch us...not even a hair of our body (our flesh) will even be damaged.

WATCHING Matthew 24:37 But as the days of No'-e were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No'-e entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. If you recognize, Noah was in the ark that was on the water.  The water was on the earth.  He never lost contact with the earth.  He still was in that Ark on the water.  What was destroyed and taken away?  It was the wicked.  Reading on at the 40th verse, Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.  God cannot lie...His promises are true.
