GIVING: A PART OF WORSHIP

How much should I give to Charity?

Giving is a part of the worship service, and you may be wondering how much should you give to Charity?

We believe how much you give to Charity is between you and the Lord.  This church believes each member or family should set aside a contribution on the first day of the week as the Bible teaches to give to their local church. We believe in the power of generosity not only to the designation of your gift but the benefits you receive as a giver described in God's Word

When You Give...

By contributing to this local church, we are not only helping to have the doors open at worship time here in the Dalton community but we are helping other church locations of our organization to have places of worship for their communities. We want to see more churches established across this great land...there is plenty of work to do in reaching those who don't know the Lord.  Many are bound down by the chains of sin and feel hopeless and alone. Some feel their light has grown dim and feel faint-hearted.  Today, there are so many in need of the Lord and this labor of love.

2nd Corinthians 9:7 "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. KJV
