The younger children sang for the service on May 10, 2026 followed also, by young adults singing before Pastor Stoney's sermon began. That sermon was an inspiring message for the youth & children in general to encourage them along this pathway called life. He said, "You may not look like you're the brightest one. You may not look like you've got your path set on the perfect path, but trust the Lord."
After the worship part of the service, the Youth Pastor, Landon Hughes honored the 2026 High School & College Graduates from the congregation. There were fourteen students (high school & college).
Following the graduation honoring service, a very impressive luncheon was hosted by Landon, his wife Leslie & staff for the graduates & families. Not only was good food presented, but plenty of beautiful decorations with balloons & much more.
Tables were set up for each student who chose to participate showcasing their photos, decorations & accomplishments.
Landon, Leslie & the staff has spent much time & effort to show love, interest & support to the youth. They have fellowship meals in the summertime after services on Wednesday evenings, take the youth to Summer Camp, have car washes, lock-ins, trips to concerts, Youth Rallies, gym activities & more.
Pastor Stoney & the Assistant Pastors, Dale Brewer & Chastain Moody are proud of the church youth & greatly desire the membership of the youth to continue to grow. They feel the youth are not only the church of tomorrow but the church of today.
